Mayor Mickey Malveaux, it is my understanding you believe all family professionals are the same but that is a misleading perception. The family professional fields over-lap in similarities but they differ in each domain. The three domains of the family professions are family life education, family therapy, and family case management (Darling, C., Dawn Cassidy., Powell, L., 2014). Family life education focuses on preventative measures as well as current solutions to family issues through empowering families with education of interpersonal relationships, parental guidance, growth and development, sexuality, and social contexts (Darling, C., Dawn Cassidy., Powell, L., 2014). Family therapy is family-based sessions aimed to repair and relationships and how they function through therapeutic interventions, clinical assessments, and treatment (Darling, C., Dawn Cassidy., Powell, L., 2014). Family case management professionals assist with legal assistance and resources the family may need such as case planning, family protection from neglect or abuse, and legal requirements (Darling, C., Dawn Cassidy., Powell, L., 2014). Family professional fields may seem similar because they are all aimed to assist the well-being of the family but after providing more insight and information concerning the major three domains of family professionals, I hope you see the importance of each domain and the separate role they take on concerning families.

The first song selected represents an artist expressing the importance of teaching our children because they are the future. The other three songs are depictions of situations that occur in life and cause distress to families. Family educators are prepared and equipped to empower families and individuals such as the ones depicted in the selected songs.
