My thank you card is addressed to Mr. Eric Stienmiller. I was a new teacher at my high school who implemented unorthodox methods of learning. His methods were creative and fun. He pushed me to challenge myself versus just allowing things to come easily to me. Because of him I stepped out of my comfort zone my senior year and played soccer, he was the soccer coach. I was very confused as what to do after highschool and he told me about McNeese, he assited me with the application process as well. His influence is the reason I am graduating from McNeese.

To be successful in the Family Science Program, be proactive on your assignments. Also, do not be afraid to contact Dr. White and Dr. IIya, they are here for your success and they are very helpful.

When beginning your internship, do not be afraid to connect with your supervisor and really put yourself out there.
Next Generation

I wish I had more of a clear idea of what I wanted to accomplish in my major. I changed my major four times, which is okay. However I wish I would have figured out what I wanted to do sooner.
