Experiences that cause smiles and frowns
Understanding the stages of life
Will help you cope with strife
Adapting to new stages can be hard
Each stage brings its own tasks and rewards
Understanding each stage’s significance
And the roles/tasks differences
Allows you to adjust accordingly
Even if the stages occur unorderly
Coping with stress of changes
Unpredictably ranges
But having knowledge and understanding
Allows for adequate planning
And can reduce unwanted stress
and undesirable contest
According to Kolb my style of learning would be an accommodator. I learn best by engaging in hands on activities such as simulations or being able to perform a task on my own and also by relating the feeling to a task or skill previously learned.

According to my results I rank the highest in visual strength and the lowest in naturalistic strength. My second strongest strength is musical and my second weakest strength is verbal. This tell me that I am an accommodator for learning styles.

I selected this Ted talk because it relates to the Social Exchange Theory. The family that adopted the speaker had to weigh the pros and cons of adopting him to change his life would in exchange affect their family. Likewise in making such a huge decision to attend college in another country the speaker had to weigh his costs and benefits.
